F1 Pre-Season Running 2022: Who Is Driving on Day 1 in Spain?

The winter break is over – it’s finally time to see the 2022 cars in action. Pre-season running begins this morning at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, and here is the lowdown of who is driving when.

All 10 teams will be in action as they set about learning as much as they can about their 2022 charges. With revolutionary new regulations, this is a first opportunity to get a glimpse into who has done the best job.

The morning session begins at 0900 local time, with the afternoon session getting under way at 1400 local time.

The teams will be keen to get plenty of laps under their belts – especially given rain could be on the way for Day 3 on Friday. One driver who will be ready and raring to go will be Alex Albon after his one-year hiatus from the sport. He is set to take part in this afternoon’s session for Williams.

See the full running order for Day 1 in Barcelona below.
